Hey my darling dears,
First off, let me say I love you all so much. I can feel all of you whether we talk or not. My heart visits each one of you and kisses and your soul. You are never alone. I am always with you. Feel me now as I entertain you with comic show I call my life, best described as I Love Lucy meets The Twilight Zone.
So first off, the Jewel show. How was that, Jessica? Well, I lost both my tickets. I have no clue how I managed to do something as stupid as that. It is so not like me to lose such a thing. Can you imagine doing this with all I have been through getting those tickets? I was just in shock. I could not believe it.
So anyway, I could not get a refund for the Friday night tickets, but those were not front row, and now I also could not bring my mom or my friend visiting me from Ontario.
I had no money, but that was not going to stop me. I got to work looking for last minute front row Jewel tickets ASAP. I did find some, but they were for the second row and now I had to choose. Who do I take? How do I choose? Well, the ticket guy also had front row tickets for himself and his friend, but his friend was not as keen on seeing her as I was, and he was a guy. This person felt it would be better for him to go to the show with a girl, so he sold me all 3 and my mom and friend got to sit directly behind me. It really worked out perfectly.
So I did not have to choose. I got to bring my mom and my friend from Ontario.
The plan was to go early and sell the tickets that I lost and at the last minute get them reprinted out, which was a hassle because Ticketmaster was being a pain. They were trying to track down my friend who paid for the tickets on their credit card and learning why we could find the record. It is just too much to go into. I just wanted to give you and idea of what was transpiring.
When we got there, we started talking to people and offering the tickets. One of the girls there said, “No thank-you. I already have good seats, and I am just waiting around to see Jewel for a meet and greet.” When she found out how much I knew about Jewel, she felt sad. She said, “I am not as big as a fan as you. I wish you could take my place.”
When the man came to collect the people to go and see Jewel, I learned that a few people asked him if I could go to meet her as well. Apparently, it was my friend from Ontario who set this up, and so when the guy was near I heard him say, “Who is this Jessica I am hearing so much about?” They pointed to me, and he asked some of his friends, “Do you know her?” They lied and said, “Yes, for a couple years now.” He then wrote down my name and said, “You’re in as well then.”
At that point I burst out in tears and went into a state of shock. I what? Me? Now? Meeting my hero in person was a very surreal thing. I mean, what do you say to them that is not cliché? Not just that, but also say it in less than a minute?
When I met Jewel, I mostly tripped over my tongue. Maybe that’s not so bad, though, because I heard this is the best compliment one could give. But still it was not as I visualized it my mind. I did manage to give her a package with a long letter with a fraction of the things I wanted to say to her. I also sent some cards and a gratitude rock plus my YouTube video, or so I thought.
You see, my mind was in such discombobulation that I gave her the wrong CD. You know how sometimes our mind goes to worst case scenario. Well I was worried that maybe I gave her my brother’s porn by accident. Oh my gosh, can you imagine, “Here Jewel, you inspired me to make this for you…” It turns out what I ended up sending was my brother’s video game CD. I can only imagine her thoughts going through the letter and finding a CD for a video game. So that was another factor that made me dead set on seeing her again the next night, plus I told her I would be front row the next day even though I had no clue how that would be.
I did end up getting them from another guy who was selling front row tickets. They were far off to the side though. I was also curious to see if my tickets were stolen or lost, and I thought maybe I could get my rightful seats after all. Well, I got a bit anxious and tried to sit in any vacant front seats. Shortly after, the rightful person would come and we would have to move. The security came up to us and asked what we were doing, and I tried to explain what happened, but I guess it sounded like a good excuse.
So they said, “Alright, wait until the show starts. If after her first 2 songs if there are 2 vacant seats we will know they are yours.”
My friend Al was so lucky. He got into the show with no problem. Apparently someone gave him a free ticket while he was waiting outside of the door.
So there I was waiting anxiously to take my rightful seats. I saw them clearly waiting and waiting. But when the photographer got done taking pictures of Jewel he decided, “Hey, I like this show. I think I will sit in this vacant seat and fold my arms around my head and enjoy the show. I could not believe it! No way, he was just going to stay. So I waited a few more songs, hoping he would get up and go. Nope. I got up and walked all the way around the back and came down the stairs. I did not show my ticket to him but just said, “Excuse me. You’re in my seat.”
He got up and left, and I got to enjoy my seat and my Jewel. She saw me and sang a few songs to me as I held myself in the fetal position. My friend Al casually sat next to me and got so many pictures and videos of Jewel for me. He even got into trouble for it, but he managed to talk himself out of it. I also got a chance to give her the right CD and explain what happened on the letter, so all went well.
I know one day I will meet up with her again, and I will have more time. We will have our one-and-one, and I will help her with her projects. Just watch. You will see.
As I think back, it really was all perfect that I lost the tickets and all that. Again, it made the trip into a real adventure. I had to stay calm and not freak out and not doubt the universe. It knows what it is doing, and had not all this so-seeming bad luck occurred, then I never would have met Jewel. I hope all of you can look at your life and see how perfect the fabric of your life is and identify the silver linings in your gray clouds.
But my adventure and this teaching was not over. Right after the concert, rather last minute at 1 a.m., we decided that we would all head to the Kootenays. The “we” consisted of my mom, my brother Steve, my friends Al and Dorian, and me. Dorian was not so easy to get at the last minute because his mother was a real protective hen. She grilled us about everything for wanting to take her baby at the last minute so late at night. I told her we were going on this trip for global transformation. She replied, “For what purpose?” (Lol. OK then.)
The drive was nine hours, and we all became raw-foodest except Steve, who stopped and bought Tim Hortons and other tempting morsels every chance he got. The place we stayed at was dome house full of sacred geometry of octagons and triangles surrounded by crystals. The owner, Joseph-Mark Cohen, even had a crystal waterfall. The house was located in the middle of the woods. I put up a few pictures on facebook for all you to get an idea of the house and where we were.
We had a good time. My mom even caught a snake with her bare hands! I caught a toad whose name was Mortimer. I took everyone caving, or is it called splunking? We also went into a crystal cave hot spring where the water is bright green and has a lot of calcium and lithium. This water is very healing and makes everyone super happy. (Lithium salts are known to stabilize moods.) It was at this hot spring called “Ainsworth” that we first met a newlywed Christian couple. Little did we know that the universe would keep making arrangements to have us randomly run into each other.
When we left the spring, the couple said God told them to go back and find us, but we were not there. On our way back, my friend Joseph drove too fast, and we lost Mom and the gang in the other vehicle. I felt very compelled to walk to the main street and sit on the side of the road. I was there for over an hour when that newlywed couple drove by and could not believe I was there. I later learned that Mom and the gang did find their way home around the back, though so I never saw them come by the road I was standing on. Then on the road we passed them in their car.
The last day, Joseph explained to us more about his house. He had so many strange spiritual things in his house, and everything had a story to it—a very long story. He had musical instruments from all over the world. This man reminded me of that neighbor “Wilson” from the TV show Home Improvement. Do you guys remember him? But our Wilson looked like a wizard and also happened to be a Kabbalah astrologer who makes whale sounds in his off time. He also does spiritual retreats all over the world.
One time, he led us into the woods for a hike and had some rocks arranged in this special way. Suddenly he decided we should sit still there and meditate. Then out of nowhere he whips out his turtle. Uh…em…his turtle being a old Australian native clay turtle, a musical instrument called an ocarina. I posted up pictures of him playing it and my brother Steve’s reaction to this. His face was priceless. Then Mom was nervous about crossing this creek, so Steve picked her up and tried to jump across with Mom in his arms, but we talked him out of it. There was no way they could make it. I have pictures of this too. Steve is 6’5” tall and can carry is little momma anywhere.
On the last day of our visit, we decided to make a raw wild salad. About an hour later, my mom felt very sick, and then I felt sick. Soon everyone else felt a little queasy, but I got it the worst. I could not stop vomiting, and I felt very weird. I was seeing beings that spoke in tongues in a very sped up way. Apparently, wild ginger leaves are poisonous to the kidneys. it is only the ginger root that is OK to eat. I got off lucky because a poisoning like this can be fatal. Did my otherwise healthy raw food diet spare me? No one knew what to do to help me, and nothing seemed to work, so they decided to call the ambulance.
When the ambulance got there, Joseph felt inspired to make healing whale sounds. It was really funny because he was oblivious to everyone there, and it seemed that he gave no thought what the paramedics might think of this, lol. The paramedics looked at each other with a facial expression equivalent to “what the heck?” I am sure they were wondering what kind of hippy dippy place this was. I would not know how to explain whale healing sounds to them, lol. I can barely recall my ride in the ambulance. I kept falling out of the stretcher as I kept going in and out of consciousness.
The hospital kept me for a very long time, too long. The reason I left for the Kootenays so last minute was because I was booked to work on a movie set. I had to be back on time, and I could not be late again. The hospital gave me tons of granulated charcoal, but that did not work and I still vomited. I did not care, though. I had to get out and head home, so at 1 a.m. I told them there was nothing more they could do for me. I had to leave, and they could not keep me there against my will, so I tore my I.V. out and left.
Steve was so worried for me. He started getting anxious and was trying to figure out a way to see me. Apparently, he was not allowed to be near me, and his efforts to do so only made the hospital call the cops on him.
I walked up to my family and got my brother and we headed out back to the dome house. It was a long day, and we all needed to sleep. That night, I had a dream about a nature spirit that spoke really fast in tongues. It said that I must be very conscious of where I am picking leaves from because the place I was staying at has many sacred fairy sites. They are the reason I got so sick, but I was not to worry because it was a gift in disguise.
The next day, I asked Steve about the prior day. He said that he saw some creature on my back. Steve is clairvoyant, but he is in the closet about the things he sees. When he is ready and open, I will help him understand it. I pulled out a nature spirit guide book, and I asked him to point out the being he saw. Sure enough, it was the one from my dream.
Right after that we headed out, and on the way we stopped off for some gas. Steve went into to get some more cooked snacks where he ran into that couple again! This would be now the fourth time we ran into them randomly. They once again offered for us to stop off to visit them in Kelowna, B.C., and before we left I realized we would have to. I did not have time to head home to shower and get fresh clothes and my makeup. The girl offered to give me some clothes and makeup and let me fix my hair and get all cleaned up to wash my sickness off me.
After that, we drove quickly back home so I would not be late. It soon became apparent I was not going to make it on time, and there would be no way to drop off my family as I was already two hours late. My agent was going to fire me for sure! I decided that because I could not take my family and friends home that I would bring them with me on set. After all, Al was already volunteering. Perhaps the film people could use more volunteers? When I got to set and told my wranglers what happened, they called my agent, who said, “Yes, she is late, but it is OK. She brought us four extra volunteers, so that definitely makes up for it.”
The reason the show needed volunteers was because they were on a tight budget. They were asking everyone to bring one friend, and because they could not pay the friends, they entered them into a drawing to win a $2,000 flight credit. Al and I put our manifesting abilities together and were willing it for my mom to win. She has never won anything or been anywhere. And guess what? She won it.
She has decided that she will use the flight credit to take her, Steve, and me to Peru for two months. So once again, it is funny how things work. Had I not got sick, had not the hospital kept me, and had not we kept running into that couple so we could then stop at their place, I would have never brought my family and my mom would be at home and not going to Peru!
Things really are perfect. You will all see it.
Shortly after, Al headed home. We were all sad to see him go because he felt like family to us.
He was so blown over by his little visit that he has decided to write a book about a day in the life with a mystic. I was thinking there should be a reality show about the life of lightworkers. Boy, that would be interesting, eh? I will look into it.
Well, that’s it for now. I have to get to set. I hope I inspired you all.
P.S. Someone asked me why I do what I do. I told them that when someone is in love, they write poems and tell stories and use all kinds of art to try to express and announce to the world their love. Well, mine is just the same. I am in love. I am in love with life and all the people this world. I work everyday to expand my heart so it can hold this whole planet closely. I am in love with life because life is madly in love with you and is always conspiring to shower you with blessings.
